Director service address in Essex

A director service address is the address shown publicly on the Companies House register instead of a director's home address. With us it is included for every director of your company at no extra cost, as part of the £10 a month or £100 a year registered office service, with no VAT.

Why it matters

Every company director must give Companies House a service address, and it is published on the public register. If you use your home address, anyone can look it up. Using our Brentwood address as your service address keeps your home address off the public record.

Your home (usual residential) address is still given to Companies House, but it is kept on a protected part of the register rather than shown publicly.

Do I need a registered office too?

Will my home address still be visible on old filings?

Changing to a service address protects future filings. Older documents may still show a home address; Companies House has a separate process for asking to have some historic addresses suppressed.
