Registered office address for startups
If you are starting a limited company, you can use our Brentwood address as your registered office from day one for £10 a month or £100 a year, with no VAT. It keeps your home address off the public Companies House register, and the director service address for all founders is included.
Why founders use one from the start
Whatever address you give when forming the company goes on the public register immediately. Using a registered office service from the start avoids your home address appearing on the register, which is harder to tidy up later.
The monthly plan (30 days' notice) keeps commitment low while you get going; the annual plan saves £20 if you know you'll need it for a year.

You can form the company yourself using our address, or use our Full Package (£225 all-in, including the Companies House fee and 12 months of address).
Keep in mind
This covers official post, not trading mail. As you start selling, give customers and suppliers a separate contact address or email — we do not accept customer correspondence, parcels or returns.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly can I start using the address?
Sign-up takes a few minutes and you can use the address as soon as you have paid. Each director completes a quick online ID check (included), which must be finished before any post can be released to you.
Does company formation include the registered office?
Our Full Package (£225 all-in, including the £100 Companies House fee) includes 12 months of registered office and director service address. Basic Formation (£125 including the Companies House fee) does not include an address.
Is the director service address included for all directors?
Yes. Every director of the company can use our Brentwood address as their service address. There is no per-director charge.
Can you receive general business or trading mail?
No. This is a registered office and official address service, not a general virtual office mailroom. We do not accept general trading mail, customer correspondence or supplier post.
How do I cancel the monthly plan?
Give us 30 days' notice. Contact support@RegisteredAddressEssex.co.uk or call 01277 523105, and remember to move your registered office away from our address at Companies House.
